ALIGNMENT & SERVICE LIFTS

OMER’s KAR & FOX are superior platform lifts that offer a more accurate and precise wheel-alignment lift. The FOX service and alignment rack is designed with a minimal footprint, extending the use of the shop floor and giving uninhibited vehicle access for the operators. Both OMER Lifts offer innovative design which translates to greater technician productivity.

Due to the KAR’s unique pantograph design there are no obstructions between the runways or the base frame, providing front to rear, side-to-side full access to the vehicle. Thanks to the FOX innovative master/double slave hydraulic system, the synchronization between runways is granted with the greatest precision. The pivots points are manufactured for longevity, incorporating an anti-rotation system, self-lubricating bushings.

Both the KAR and FOX platform runways are rigid and built to resist deflection regardless to vehicles wheelbase or weight distribution; this translates in precise alignment readings. The KAR and FOX 65 are both ALI Certified and built to the highest safety standards. Multiple safeties are built within the systems including parachute valves, mechanical safety devices, automatic insertion, photocells to control the synchronization of the runways, micro-switch with acoustic buzzer and “deadman” controls.

FEATURES

KAR LIFT ALIGNMENT

The KAR Lift Alignment has been designed to a higher standard of quality; it is manufactured in Mirano Italy by O.ME.R S.p.A., a world leader in Lift Manufacturing for over 40 years in an ISO 9001 facility, and equipped with a premium Siemens 3HP/2.2kw motor and a BOSCH pump. Its superior structural strength provides longer life and more precise alignments. The multipiece boxed style runway structure will not flex or sag. The new patented ASO (Absorbing System Omer) system prevents, through a special leverage and a device for absorbing loads, any type of deflection, torque or mechanical stress on the runways and on the bases due to uneven distribution of load on the lift.

This alignment rack provides greater flexibility with now more models to choose from. It is available in surface or flush-mounted, alignment or service deck. An optional 9,000lb. (4T) runway lifting tables can also be added to the unit, with standard jacking beam rails provided. The platform length can also be customized form 16 to 20 ft. The fixed points (only four) on which the lift is leaning, are positioned at the end of the runaways, thus allowing a complete customization of the structures length.

The KAR Lift Alignment offers lower maintenance costs than many other similar lifts in the market. The steel components are “wheel-a-brator” shot blasted and a hot dip acid washed is applied before a “double bake” powder coat finish is applied. Moreover, a zerk style grease fittings is added at all hinge points, to help facilitate easy maintenance. An optional hot dip galvanization of complete structure is also offered for extreme wet conditions. A low pressure hydraulics provides longer life; four low pressure inverted cylinders are mounted under the runway for protection. The cylinders operate at <3800psi/260bar at full capacity. Additional premium options and accessories useful to expand its capabilities and service life are: stainless steel radius plates, built-in tire inflation hoses, removable work steps, LED runway lighting, and premium heavy-duty extended life 5-year warranty HD jacking beams.

The precision leveling feature offered by this alignment rack provides more accurate alignments and the exclusive “volumetric” control maintains level to within less than 1/4 in. with no need of electronic sensors on the lift or PLC/PC Board. The synchronization system between the two runaways can be electro-hydraulic or electronic, depending on the model, ensuring the maximum reliability under all conditions of employment. The end-result is therefore perfect stability and superior alignment (coplanarity) of the system.

Designed for greater technician productivity this lift is designed with no obstructions between the runways or base frame. The large space that is created below the two runaways and all around the lift itself, allow the operators a complete freedom of movement. The lift rises 81 in. in 71 seconds with 18 locking positions. The built in runway compressed air outlets are located in the front and in the rear. Furthermore, for the flush mount version of the lift, a new automatic and completely pneumatic system of pit covering plates has been developed. These plates, specially designed to support both the weight of the operator and that of his tools, allow for any type of work to be performed below the runaways.

All the KAR lifts are equipped with next generation safety devices: mechanical jacks on each leg cylinder (housed in a protected position under the runaway itself), safety valve installed on each cylinder, photocell for control of alignment between the lift runaways, and pressure-relief valve.

FOX 65

The Fox 65 service and alignment rack is designed with a minimal footprint, extending the use of the shop floor and giving uninhibited vehicle access for the operators.

The platform runways are rigid and built to resist deflection regardless to vehicles wheelbase or weight distribution; this translates in precise alignment readings. Thanks to its innovative master/double slave hydraulic system, the synchronization between runways is granted with the greatest precision. The pivots points are manufactured for longevity, incorporating an anti-rotation system, self-lubricating bushings, and zerk grease fittings, all designed to increase longevity and allow for years of trouble free operation. The drive-on ramps remain attached to the platforms when the lift leaves the ground, maximizing the shop floor. Their length allows even the lower-profile vehicles to get on the lift.

The Fox 65 is ALI Certified and built to the highest safety standards. Multiple safeties are built within the system including parachute valves, mechanical safety devices, automatic insertion, photocells to control the synchronization of the runways, micro-switch with acoustic buzzer to complete lowering process, low voltage controls (24v), and “deadman” controls.

A hot-dipped galvanization of the whole structure of this lift can be added as an option, offering extra protection from corrosion due to water or salt exposure, and dramatically extending the life of the equipment.
